The industrie brings out new systems, services, Browsers and devices, who need a new work environment sometimes in order to be used efficiently and stably.
SKIPPING UPDATES
If you left out an update of a system, you may get the problem that your system won’t work with a certain process, has a lot restinctions or works very slow. Furthermore nowadays systems get attacked by viruses and trojans who try to get our sensitive dates.

If you get your systems (operating system, Browser, software, firmware, ect.) always updated, security gaps and performance problems will be avoided.

Considering compatibility
You have to consider only the compatibility to each other. Some suppliers are very fast with publishing a new update and another producer needs more time to adjust their update to various environments. This may cause the problem that with the update of a system another system can’t be used stably because the versions are not (yet) compatible to each other. If you are not sure whether updates of different producers are compatible to each other, ask the producer who will give you competent information about this.
KEEP YOUR PLUG&VIEW SYSTEM ALWAYS UPDATED
Our camera systems get improved permanently. Therefore we bring out new firmware versions that will keep your camera updated. Suggestions for improvements of our customers are welcome and will be used in our new updates.
If you have used the update FW rev.1811T or a following update you don’t need to do any update manuell any longer. The Plug&View system will update itself automatically if you connect your camera with your system. This is a very time saving and confortable possibility to keep your system updated. This improvement was caused by intern results and various suggestions of our customers. We have converted these suggestions for improvements in our systems succesfully and everyone benefits of it. At this place we want to thank our customers!

- Check if your Plug & View system has the newest firmware
- This can be checked by logging in, in your camera system and using the “pop up window” for updates. If you can’t see any pop up window,
please use the settings, cklick on system and if you can find there an update, please use it. - Look at the update instruction to learn how to carry out an firmware update.
- Utilize internet explorer version 9 for an Plug&View firmware update
- You can check out the version of your IE if you open up your IE and use settings to cklick on “about internet explorer”.
There, a window will be opened where you can see the number of version and the current update.
- The more up to date your system is, the better you can work with it and the more useful functions you can utilize.
