Lüdenscheid, 12th February 2013 – Keep an eye on everything that`s important! This is no longer a problem with the new high-class Digitus IP security cameras from Assmann. Thanks to the new Plug&View systems, the cameras are ready for use within only one minute. The access is effected by the Digitus-owned App and can be done from everywhere via Smartphone, Tablet or via an Internet browser through the PC or Mac. Assmann starts off with four different camera models and thus provides a perfect solution for every field of use.
The application areas of security cameras are multifarious: The concept of the Plug&View cameras enables to get visually and acoustically in contact with the family on the go, thanks to 2-way-audio function, to supervise babies and kids and to look after solely living elderly people. Even employed people can have an observant eye on the quadruped at home or simply look at the homestead from the distance and thus prevent burglary and thievery. Furthermore, the cameras are suitable for industrial use – e.g. for supervisory of the premises or car pool.
Installation as easy as winking
Digitus uses a totally new installation basic approach for its Plug&View system: Via the website mydigitus.net and the individual code of each camera, a connection between user and camera is set up automatically – extensive installation processes do not occur. With the help of the setup assistant, the camera is ready for use within a few minutes. After the registration of the device over mydigitus.net (alternatively to be scanned as a QR code), the camera is recognized and added to the personal user account automatically. Now, the user can operate the camera via Smartphone, Tablet, PC or Mac, watch video sequences and even carry out individual settings via remote maintenance. If required, the video data can be saved over a safeguarded connection in mydigitus-Cloud and thus, can be available everywhere and location-independently (within the Cloud): This is a great advantage compared to other security cameras, which can only be installed with time, effort and technical knowledge and are rarely online-accessible.
Function volume
All Plug&View cameras are equipped with WLAN up-to-date 11n standard. This ensures uninterruptible transmission. The cameras support Micro-SD cards up to 32 GB, can be operated via an own App and enable access via all current Internet browsers. They provide 4x Digital Zoom as well as motion detection with a notification and back up function of the pictures. Smart-Light-Control enables high-performance surveillance even in the dark.

Digitus OptiView: The OptiView model is a compact, stylish camera VGA video resolution (640×480). Integrated LEDs enable internal space surveillance even in the dark. Thanks to the compact foot, the camera can be placed everywhere in a room without any problems.

The HD Day & Night camera ensures high-performance day and night surveillance including 2-way-audio function with 25 pictures per second (HD720). The high-class motion detection enables automatical recording and backup of the pictures via email or FTP. Digitus OptiVision can be erected as well as be placed onto a wall or ceiling.

Digitus OptiArc: The motorized Pan & Tilt HD camera is equipped with a detachable antenna and can be adjusted via remote control, even from being away, vertically up to 90 degrees as well as up to 270 degrees horizontally. The camera provides H.264 compression format and ensures, with 25 pictures per second (HD720), automatically recording and back up of videos and pictures via email or FTP. Thanks to a flat foot and its swivel and drift function, it can be used flexibly and enables a view on a whole room or rather different hotspots.
